Alright, next baby step accomplished: I joined a KAL- The Do Something New KAL. Hopefully it will motivate me to TRY NEW THINGS!
I am using NH Knitting Mama's Candy Bag pattern for my August letter. Trying those DPNs, you know.
Until, I dig out my camera again... another flower from my parched garden. Sweet William, I believe. My mother would know; I wish her green thumb had been passed along to me.

DPNs are going to be my goal for October I think.
Are they unbelievably scary?

I tried them with sz. 3s the first time, and it wasn't pretty. The candy bag is with cotton yarn and larger needles. Much more success there. I'm not so scared anymore.
